Guided by our assistant teachers, we shared an interesting journey with professors and group members. In the process of discussing with students of different majors and different grades, we complement each other and make progress together. Meanwhile, by communicating with professors in English, I can recognize my problems promptly and improve my academic literacy in an all-around way.
I would like to introduce what impressed me most. Firstly, as we were learning what critical thinking is, we recognized some dilemmas. When we respect others, do we need to clarify which is right and ultimately decide which is applicable? But the definition of what is right is tied to something more than critical thinking. When we get into some arguments, we need time to study them. But an argument or some questions that need an answer doesn't wait. How can we use critical thinking to discuss and work more effectively? There is a paradox that we must confront and ponder for a long time. Secondly, the work is supported by various techniques and tools. We learned various platforms for article searching, article assessment, article correction, and article submission. For preparing the article, the questionnaire platforms abroad were introduced. To present our work or others, we got some useful websites that could help us practice our presentations by ourselves. Thirdly, by communicating with team members at each stage, we summarized our probable problems and integrated beneficial measures. It's also amazing to break the limits of perspective and learn thinking methods from different disciplines.
In conclusion, it improves my critical skills in all aspects which helps me to present my daily studies and assignments. By comparing my previous work with what I was taught in this journey, I can improve my work and do my best in the future.
